ISLAND TOURISM FESTIVAL
The Island Tourism Festival is an annual cultural event being held in the islands primarily focused in promotion of tourism and entertainment for islanders. The main events are held at Port Blair. The festival is held annually with an inaugural function being graced by Honable Lt. Governor at Port Blair. The highlight of the festival is the exhibition depicting strides made by the Island Administration in various spheres and sale of general merchandise, food stalls, and stalls of interest to tourists, Floating Restaurant etc.
The main focal point, however, is the performance of mainland artists especially reputed music bands, Bollywood singers, dancers, performers etc. Artists of East Zone and South Zone Cultural Centers are also invited by the Art and Culture department and performed simultaneously in outlying islands.

BEACH FESTIVAL
The beach festival is the recent addition made by the department of tourism so as to cater to the needs of beach lovers. The venue of the festival may vary. Composition of this festival are beach activities like beach volley ball, and other beach sports like tug of war, kabaddi etc. Food-courts, variety entertainment programs, fun activities are also arranged depending up on venue and facilities near the beach.

Monsoon FESTIVAL
The Monsoon festival is organized every year in the month of May – June with attractions like Music, food kiosks etc. So as to provide round the year tourism activities in the Island. Music Festival together with Monsoon festival has become a decorated event in the islands.

FLEE MARKET
Flee market is being organized from time to time in the islands at various places providing opportunity for the locals to showcase their productivity and creativity and also the tourists can enjoy the local cuisine, buy local handicrafts and produce. The event has been launched for entertainment of tourists and Islanders.

LIGHT AND SOUND SHOW
The Sound and Light show in the Cellular Jail narrates the saga of the Indian freedom struggle, brought alive through sound and light effect of the brutal and barbaric atrocities piled on the freedom fighters deported to these islands and incarcerated in the small cells of this jail.

KALAPANI MUESUEM
Kalapani Museum is unique amongst all museums in Port Blair and is the only private history museum in the country, setup in a three storied building, where history is brought alive through miniature and life size models and dioramas.
The museum has a vast collection of rare archival photographs, paintings and artifacts of tribes, history, rare original documents of Colonial and Japanese periods, including many documentaries and films related to the Island and the Indian Freedom Struggle. It takes the visitors on a journey of rediscovery and unfolding the unknown and untold mysteries of the Island.
